We are looking for 4 more members to join our Scrapdragons Creative Team!!

This Creative Team call is open to EVERYONE - World Wide.

What You Will Get:

A 6-month term on the Scrapdragon Creative Team with options to renew at the end of the 6 month term.

Scrap STUFF! Each month we'll send you a small scrap rak pack of goodies to play with! It will depend on the month what we send out but we have our hands in the latest and greatest stuff!! As we grow and get more sponsors we hope to have more goodies to pass along!

What we are looking for:

Creative scrapbookers who like to think outside the box. This is a challenge blog with funky and fun challenges!

The workload for the creative team will be light and quite easy to manage (only 2 layouts a month are required) but an ability to get things done on time is definitely important!

What You Need To Do:

E-mail us at twoscrapdragons@yahoo.com Put "Scrapdragon Creative Team Applicant" in the Subject Line.

In the body of the e-mail please include the following:

Name

e-mail address

Link to your personal blog and/or online gallery

3 links to layouts/projects that you have made that YOU feel are your personal best .

A list (with links if possible) to any past/current Design Teams you are on, guest design spots count as well! If you've NEVER been on a team before that's great too - We'd LOVE to see some new faces!!

DEADLINE to get e-mail applications in is May 1st 2008. An announcement will be on the Scrapdragon site on May 2nd with the list of new Creative Team members!

We will not be replying to each application sent in. You will hear from us on May 2nd via e-mail with instructions and more details if you are chosen.

Challenge #13~Time to Feel the Music!!

With American Idol on...we here at Scrapdragon have been feeling the music. So we want you to be feeling it too!

So our challenge for you this month is to use CD or Album Cover art to inspire a layout. The layout can be any size and any type.

We will be giving the winner a $15 gift certificate to the cropaddict.com store!!

The only requirement is that you post a link both to your layout & the CD or Album cover that inspired it.

Challenge #12 - Let's get Trashy! You know you wanna....!

Let's take our trash and make something positive out of it!

What we would like you to do with this challenge is to use trash in some way on your creative layout.

Whether it be a trash can, a recycle bin, something considered trash or merely the words "Trash" or"Garbage" or "Rubbish".

Challenge #11~Don't Judge a Book by its Cover

We have always been told not to judge a book by its cover… but of course people do it all of the time. How often have you seen a book & based on the look of its cover been moved to open it up & perhaps even buy it? Well, websites are also often judged by their covers or more specifically their headers.

So we here at Scrapdragons have decided that it is time for a new look here. One that represents who we are & what we do here.

And this is where you come in…
We are in need of some new header art. We could design one ourselves, but wouldn’t it be more fun to have a contest?

Here are our only requirements…the rest is up to you...

~ Header dimensions should be compatible with the blogger format
~ The header art should in some way reflect the theme of this blog & include the “Scrapdragon” name

The entries need not be created digitally. Well photographed paper creations will be considered as well.

Here’s what is in it for you...
We will choose a header from all the submissions we receive. That winner will receive a $20 gift certificate provided by Gabi & Laura from an online store of your choice. We will post links here in this thread for all entries. The winner will also have a link on our sidebar for as long as we use their winning header.

So, please feel free to link to this post & help spread the news about our contest. Please post here in the comments & email us your entries.

Fashion Faux Pas!?!?!

For this challenge we would like you to scrap a page, any size, any style about a Fashion Faux Pas. It could be some crazy or wacky fashion choice you made, maybe something silly one of your kids loves to wear, or maybe it is just on old picture of you with a bad 80's hair cut. As always we love to leave these up to interpretation. So do not in any way feel limited. Make this challenge yours & go for it!!

Challenge #9

Music is a form of art & the lyrics are often like poetry, so using lyrics in scrapbook layouts really makes sense.

Music often brings us memories.

You hear a song & can be transported back via your memories to the high school prom, or the day you were married, or the first time your heart was broken.

Sometimes a song expresses exactly what you feel in your heart. Sometimes a line from a song can just sum up the mood of a moment.

So here is our challenge to you...

Create a scrapbook layout any size...that incorporates music in some way.

You can use a single verse, the entire song or even just the title.

You can even just journal about music, do a page about your ipod, or maybe an instrument you play.

The key is to be creative & have fun with it!!!
