New Faces at Scrapdragon

Hey everyone...We know you all got to know Lauren a bit with her fabulous card challenge. She will be providing us with mini card challenges from time to time. If you have a chance be sure to check out her fabulous blog.

We also have a new memeber on our creative team. Vee is now going to be creating for us as well. Vee has a fabulous style & I am sure your will all be inspired by her work. Vee is also a rockin' blogger so be sure to check out her blog as well!

Hiya, Scrapdragons, Lauren here!

Laura & Gabi aren’t here right now...they said something about Daniel Craig and suntan lotion…I’m sure it’s all *perfectly* wholesome… I thought it would be fun to drop in and host a little
mini-challenge-ette! I know you’ve all been making tons of gorgeous layouts, but howsabout we make my favorite--CARDS--this time? and what better theme for a scrapDRAGONS card challenge than…can you guess? you can guess, right?…


Yep, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is: make a card with a dragon on it!

Here are the rules: there ARE no rules! You may interpret the theme in any way you want! Fantasy dragon, dragonslayer, cartoon dragon, puff the magic dragon, year of the dragon, dragonfly, dragon lady, kimodo dragon…be as wild…or as tame as you want! And remember…since this is a Lauren challenge, creative “cheating” is not only permitted…it’s actively encouraged!!!

Challenge #3 ~ "Mixing it Up!"

For our third contest we would like to offer another
unique & interesting challenge.

Take inspiration from each of the 3 items below. One
is a layout by Carla our winner of challenge #1, one
is a photograph, & the third is a swatch of fabric.
What you will need to do is use all three of them as
inspiration to create a layout. You can take anything
that moves you from each of the photos. Be creative,
it does not need to be a literal interpretation, feel
free to use creative license. This is about getting
your mojo flowing so please truly have fun.

Our goal is to have this challenge inspire you to make
something fabulous.

Once your layout is complete, comment back to this
post with a link to your layout or email it to us
before the deadline. Please be sure to let us know
what elements or inspiration you took from each of the
three!

We look forward to your entries!
