Attention All You Card Makers!!

Helloooooooo Scrapdragons!

Yes, it’s card challenge time again, so welcome to a little thing I like to call the “Nothing-Like-the-Last-Minute Procrastinator’s Mass-Producible Halloween Card Challenge”! (snappy title, eh?!) Since time is of the essence, your assignment is to use the same ingredients to make at least two totally spooktacular cards. They can be identical twins…or just kissing cousins…but the point is to get as much bang from your supply buck as possible!

I grabbed a pack of adorable 3-D cat stickers and some “trick-or-treat” ribbon the last time I was at Michaels…threw in glossy black cardstock, a bunch of white rub-on letters, some scraps of patterned paper…et voila!

Halloween postcards for the boys and ghouls in my life!

Happy cardmaking and Happy Halloween!

You have until Midnight EST October 30th to post a link to your card in the comments of this post.

There will be a nice RAK for the winner!
Thanks,
Lauren

Decisions...Decisions...Decisions...

Oh what a rough time we had choosing a winner. What a wonderful problem to have!! So many fabulous entries that we could barely make a decision as to who should win. Seriously this was probably the hardest one we have had so far. You all really rocked this challenge!!

There were so many creative ways you showcased those not so great photos. I have tons of fun new ideas now. Thank you everyone!!

So after all that I guess you probably really want to know who finally won the big prize. You are like, "yeah yeah yeah whatever...hard choices....everyone did fabulous work....come on...just let us know who won already!!"

Well here it is........

Challenge #5

Out of Focus
How many of you have a stack of photos that you wish
were better?
Perhaps they are a bit out of focus.
Maybe someone has their eyes closed. Oops is that a
finger in front of the lens? Whatever the issue I am
sure we all have at least one. I know sometimes I am
so disappointed with these photos because either they
are the only pictures I have a certain event or I just
love the emotion in them even if it isn't the
"perfect" shot.

Well now is your chance to pull those bad photos
out...dust them off...& create something beautiful
with them.

The challenge this time is to scrap one or more bad
photos on a layout.

Remember scrapbooking is about telling the story &
preserving memories. It doesn't always have to be
fabulous photos.

Allow yourself to have some fun with them. Be creative
& make sure to share your link in the comments when
you are done.

Deadline for submissions is midnight EST on October
15th. Our Creative Team will choose a winner shortly
after that for a cool scrappy prize.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Here's what our creative team came up with:

Laura's Layout

Vee's Layout

Niki's Layout

Deanna's Layout
