Putting it all together - Challenge #15

Modern Paper Piecing!

A new twist on an old favorite!!
Create a layout featuring your own handmade, layered funkalicious paper piecing!

Let's talk textures, layering, and 3D !!
What you need to do is create a paper piecing by hand. We're not talking your classic tear bears or Disney paper piecing, we're talkin hand made, layers, stamping, 3D and funkalicious!

How about a hand drawn bird? A really cool stamped image that you layer, stamp, ink, paint and embellish?

Have fun and be sure to link your layout in the comments by April 30th. The winner will receive a $20.00 gift certificate to Crop Addict
Oh.. one last note... you still have PLENTY of time to apply for our Creative team!!
Check out our creative team's take on the challenge!

Niki's

Check this out...Gabi & Laura were visiting their local scrapbook store. (If you are ever in the New Jersey area, be sure to check out Scrapbooking Moments in Time. It is a fabulous store with a friendly & helpful staff. Click on there name & visit their website. If you stop in be sure to tell them we sent you.) While they were there...Pat, the owner, was showing us all her new inventory & this cute little card she had made. We thought is was a perfect example of another twist on the paper piecing idea. The little bird is put together with pieces of ribbon.

sorry the picture was taken on Laura's cell phone.
How cool is that??

Lori, I remember you showing me this way way back when you made this. I can't believe this is being posted as someone elses. All the pieces are in the same place and same colors exactly as what you showed. I still have it on my computer from when you shared with me. This is really sad to see someone taking your work for theirs, and they are a DT person. Where is honesty?

I apologise to you Lori! I will I didn't know to whom this belonged and I wanted to showcase it as a 'funky fresh new/styled' paper piece.
I am glad you emailed and let us know it's your copyright and now I have it linked to you.
Again, I apologize and hope you will forgive me (Gabi) as it had nothing to do with the Scrapdragon team.
I am sorry.
~Gabi
