Debby said...

Oh..I was supposed to tell you what inspired me..
I chose the half moons and journaling from layout one.
Strips of paper to look like stripes in the purse and I added a buckle. And from the bottom layout, I chose the Black dotted letters. In fact, I used the black dots throughout my layout. They put in mind of baseballs being that my photos were taken at a Cincinnati Red's ballgame! And it didn't hurt that I'm on Tie one on ribbon club's design team and used the August ribbon! LOL

Scrapdragons said...

I am adding links to the original post so you can see the layouts submitted so far.

Congratulations to Teresa for being the first one to complete our first challenge.

We didn't even post our Creative Team's interpretation.

It was fun using the 3 different pics for inspiration!!
~teresa

Oh...sorry....here's where my inspiration came from! LOL!

I used my title placement from the 1st. pic, my striped PP and buckle from the purse and the pic and PP placement from #3!
~teresa

Cheryl said...

Ok, mine is complete. I used as my inspiration the bright colors of the first layout and the purse, the ideas of putting the colors in stripes with a little white also from the purse and the use of one layout about cute kid(s) from the last layout.

I hope this is ok.

Alright - here is mine ... I did a 6x12 because that is what I thought about when I saw that purse. I also used a striped background because of the purse. From Laura's layout I used the jagged edges and the arrow. And from Gabi's layout I used the green, the title idea and placement as well as the placement of the photo and papers.

Great challenge I agree-I was inspired by a lot of things. First thing that struck my eye was the bag-Colors reminded me of ice cream and lazy summer days. Second photo inspired me to get out my old zigzag scissors & also sed circular letters to add journaling to my page in a semi circle shape. In the last photo, I was drawn to use of 1 very large photo with lots of Patterned paper. Thanks for the inspiration and the looks!

Well, I finally was able to sit down and do this. I used red cardstock and round alpha stickers inspired by the first layout, striped paper inspired by the stipes on the purse, and the star patterned paper by Scenic Route from the third layout.
